Market trading hours are 9.30am – 2pm.
Pack in from 6am with ALL vehicles to be off site by 8.30am.
Pack out is from 2pm with ALL vehicles and trailers to be off site by 3.30pm.
Specific times for Pack In and Pack Out will be organized per stall because of the limited entrance space we have available to us for the market. Please be patient. Erratic, abusive and impatient behavior will not be tolerated. Please pack down and be ready to go BEFORE you bring your vehicle on site at the end of the trading time.
Please keep your displays, products and signage within your allocated space unless specifically organized with the Market Crew.
Outdoor gazebo sites on grass must use a mat please. All gazebos must be pegged and tied down or have 15kg minimum weights on each leg.
Place guide ropes and pegs so they are NOT a hazard to anyone walking in, around or past your allocated area.
Your site is your site only. No sub letting is allowed.
Only items on your application can be sold on your site. New products and stands must be presented to the Market organizers for approval. We are advocates of good competition, when a product is ONLY JUST SIMILAR to another within the market, NOT a direct copy.
We are Pro local, and NZ Made first. No cheap imitation or "$2.00" shop products will be allowed. High quality imports will be accepted, only if we think it will "fit" with the market. Quality up cycled and re purposed goods/clothing is welcomed.
ABSOLUTELY NO DRUG PARAPHERNALIA WILL BE ALLOWED.
No alcohol to be sold unless previously organized with The Market organizers and The District Council Licensing Committee. Initial inquires must come through the Marsden Cove Marina Market organizers.
Plastic carry bags of any form are a BIG NO NO please. We are Pro Plastic Free NZ. All Foodies must use compostable food containers, plates, cutlery, drink containers and straws. Please remove all of your rubbish at the end of the day.
If you have a powered site, ALL of your appliances, power leads and junction boxes must have up to date tags on them. Vendor parking areas will be allocated on the day.
You are responsible for your own cash float and eftpos systems. Marsden Cove Marina Market accepts no responsibility for any theft, loss or damage to your property. You are responsible for your own insurance. Marsden Cove Marina Market holds Public Liability Insurance in case of an unfortunate accident involving the public.
All vendors are responsible for briefing staff and volunteers on their site with regards to all of the above. Get to know your neighbor and help out if there is a problem or an emergency.
If you are unable to attend please notify us by 11:00am on the Thursday morning before the market. If you cancel after 11:00am Thursday and we cannot fill your site, you will be charged the site fee.
WCM Management reserves the right to refuse/decline your application at anytime.
FOODIES.
All of the above applies..... PLUS
You must hold a current Food license or Food Control Plan Certificate which has to be on display at all times please. Include these with your application. Look at your local councils information with regards to food prep, the storage of food, and the sale of food to the public and PLEASE adhere to the guidelines. WE WILL BE VISITED on a regular basis by council to make sure we are all top end, and licensed traders.
Electrical and Gas certificates must be up to date. Fire extinguishers must be legal and operational and within easy reach at all times.
If you operate from a Gazebo, please use a suitable mat and do not leave food residue on the ground at close down. Dispose of your own rubbish please.
And please remember the NO PLASTIC and compostable only rules.
